We bridge two worlds and translate ancestral wisdom into innovative strategies for organizations and institutions

Indigenous territories and protected areas in the Brazilian Amazon encompass approximately 52% of the region's forests. Between 2000 and 2021, these areas accounted for only 5% of net forest loss. Acting as strong carbon sinks, removing approximately 340 million tons of CO₂ each year.

In contrast - due to agricultural activities, logging, and mining - the other parts of the Amazon Forest releases more CO₂ than it absorbs.

Recognition of the positive impact of Indigenous visionary worldviews, sustainable and regenerative knowledge systems, leadership as guardians of the territories, and dignified way-of-life offers innovative solutions to today’s global challenges.

An increasing willingness to support, learn from, and partner with Indigenous Peoples and traditional communities collides with a wide set of challenges. This is where Amazonia Land steps in with a spirit of co-development.
